France is an extremely influential and significant member of the United Nations. It is one of the most important countries in Europe with a large population and has a huge say in many decisions that the United Nations makes.

Brazil is one of the founding countries of the United Nations. This makes Brazil have a big opinion of what goes on throughout the United Nations. Brazil has had a lot of problems with cyber security. Brazil needs to step up there cyber security/defense because they are such an important country to the world.

China plays the biggest and most influential role in the U.N. Being the largest country in the world in the world and having most products come from China, how could we not have an important role in the UN. Also being a permanent member of the security shows China's power and authority in the UN.

Athough India turned down a permanent seat on the Security Council, it is still an influential member of the UN because it plays an active role in most of the UN's councils, it contributes a lot of money to the UN, and it was an original founder of the UN in 1945.

Although North Korea has been heavily involved in terms of nuclear discussions, they are not an influential member of the United Nations because of their extreme isolationism, terrible government, and constant threats towards the most prominent member of the UN, the United States.

The fact that the United States is in debt to the United Nations is overshadowed by their powerful presence as a member of the Security Council, as well as the U.N. headquarters being on U.S. turf and being the largest donor to the organization.

Nigeria is an influential and important member of the United Nations because they are one of the top five countries to provide peacekeeping personnel. Nigeria is a highly populated, wealth, friendly, and stable county in a reasonably unstable continent, therefore it is valuable to the UN. Even though it never meets the Millennium Development Goal.

Canada has influenced the United Nations tremendously by helping create it, having many elected roles such as President of the General Assembly, and by assisting the peacekeeping in the United Nations and helping keep it in tact.

Egypt is a important member to the UN, since they joined they have been contributing 12th most of all countries, but they have recently increased to fifth, though they have caused trouble as well, they have made one of the biggest peacekeeper contributions out of every country as well as peace talks in places like Sudan, also Egypt is a Nuclear free zone, helping the UN's anti nuke ideal

Despite the fact that Iran has not contributed to the UN on many occasions, it classifies as a founding member of the UN, as well as having been part of a UN Women's Rights Group and having cooperated during the UN Nuclear Bomb Probe.

Due to the fact that France has a permanent seat in the Security Council, is a member of the Human Rights Council and also is the fifth largest contributor to the United Nations, it continues to be an important member of the UN, despite its fairly small economy.
