I am very excited about going to washington because I would like to see all of the memorials. I am also fortunate that I get to go with this group of kids that I am very fond of so I know I will have a great time with them. The museums there interest me a lot to because it is important to learn about our history and interesting to look at all of the displays. Additionally, I am excited about all of the freedoms we are going to have upon arriving in Washington.

I am excited to see the Tomb of the lost solider. I find it fascinating how much training and hard work goes into guarding the Tomb. I hear the concentration the solders have is incredible. The Tomb is also very important because it represents all of the lost unknown soldiers lost in war.

While in Washington I am so excited to visit the Museum of Crime and Punishment. When I heard that we were going there this year I was so excited, I can't wait to go into the crime lab and feel what its like to investigate my own crime. I'm also excited to see the National Mall in D.C.

I am very excited to go to washington, because i have always wanted to go inside the pentagon. I think that seeing the pentagon would be like seeing everybody in the army all in one building. The Pentagon is the defense of this country, and i think that it is so cool that im going to have the opportunity to walk in there.

I think that the place I’m most excited to see is the Tomb of the Lost Soldiers. I really think that this is going to be so captivating and information filled that it will keep everyone paying attention and focused while the tour guide is speaking. I am also really enraptured by seeing how the guards walk and protect the tomb 24/7, 375 days a year. Personally I think that, that shows a sign of high respect for this and hopefully everyone else will be as excited to see it. I feel as though the tomb will invite you to learn so much more than what you think it is. I also think that it is very kind that people decided to make a tomb just for the lost soldiers that couldn’t be identified and have them be put into such a secured environment. This is really what I am most excited for when we are in Washington! Also like any other girl, im REALLY excited for the mall!!!!

The thing that I am the most exited to see while at washington is the pentagon because in history class this year ewe have disscused cases involving national security many times. It will be a great experience to see where the people who keep America safe do their work.
The pentagon is also one of the most iconic buildings in America because of its significant importance to the state of American society. All of the sites we view in washington will be interesting but I look forward to seeing the pentagon more than all the others.

I am excited to visit the memorials, especially the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I am the most excited for this part of the trip because I heard of other people's experiences at Washington, D.C., and most of them found this memorial the highlight of their trip. I heard that though it was not an imposing statue like many other of the memorials, it had an interesting benefit to its creativeness. Apparently, the architect made it specially so that it would face the sun all day to soak up the warmth so that to night viewers (like us) it would be warm to the touch, which I have heard gives it "life".

I am exited to see the Pentagon because it sounds really cool. I want to see what it is like. It is very high secured and a lot of people in army work there. My uncle is in the army, but he doesn't work there.

When we go to Washington, one thing I'm excited to see is the Newseum. Just the name of the place is exciting, and I cannot wait to see what the museum has in store. The war memorials, the Crime and Punishment museum, the Pentagon and meeting our senator are all going to be fun as well!

I am exited about going to Washington because I am very interested in the different memorials and museums.

I am also looking forward to having the freedom to go where I want and spend my money on whatever I want because i can't do that very often at home.

The Pentagon looks interesting and I'm exited to go there and learn about some of the things that the government is doing to protect our country.

I am very exited about our trip to Washington. I am exited to see the museum of crime and punishment. This museum will be entertaining, and educational. It will be fun how we get to see how they solve their crimes and stuff. Another thing I think is going to be fun is going to the Washington Mall. All the girls will enjoy that very much on the trip

What I am most excited for when we go to Washington will be the Pentagon. I think the Pentagon will be the most exciting because it is very secretive and it is where our government security is. Also, I want to go see the Tomb of the Last Soldier because its really interesting how protected it is, and how much work the people who guard it have to put into their job.

As the Washington trip approaches the two things that i most look forward to would be going to see the Pentagon and The Tomb of The Unknown Solider. Both of those monuments have great significance and history behind these to places. The thing about the Pentagon that i am most interested in is to see how the government's security works and how all of the secrets of America are in their and guarded so tightly. The significance for me for the Tomb of the Unknown Solider is the amount of security surrounding the monument and how formal and serious it is. With such high security we know that this is a great monument with a ton of significance which i think would make these two places the most intriguing for me to visit throughout this trip.

I am very excited to see the changing of the guards ceremony in Washington, D.C. Even thought it might be a short time we are their the guards go throw all this training do prefect in the changing. I think the fact that the guards are always on watch is very interesting. As Miss. Salvatore exampled to us all the little facts, I can't wait to see it in action.

i am excited to see all the memorials. It's like brining back or re-living a piece of history. Standing next to it or just being in its presence. I also went on this trip when I was in fifth grade. We went to the Holocaust Museums and it was a great educational experience. Being in Washington gives you history outside of the classroom to stand in Washington and say that you have been to the place where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his I have a Dream speech. Interactive learning is always fun.

I am excited about seeing all of the museums and the memorials. I really love history and I am am looking forward to learning about it in our nations capitol. I am also looking forward to exploring the capitol with all of my friends. The best part of the trip, in my view, will come at the night tour of the memorials. Also, The crime and punishment is going to be awesome because of the forensics lab.

The most exiting part of Washington that I am looking forward to is The Pentagon. This is because I've always thought that high defense security buildings are very interesting especially with how serious it can get there. I think that visiting The Pentagon will also show me a lot of how important the security in our country really is. I truly am exited to see how everything works inside.

I think it is see all of the cool places. So much happens/happened in these places and it's fun to see and learn about them. It's not the same if there was just a textbook. In washington, you get the real feel of the place. I like the reflecting pool and the thing with the statue of Abe Lincoln. I'm going to see how tall the Washington Memorial is!!!!!!!!!The trip is going to be so much fun :)

I am excited to go to Washington D.C. because I would like to see the Pentagon. When I went to Washington D.C. with my parents in 5th grade and a camp in 6th grade, I never got to go inside the Pentagon. I want to see how the Secretary of Defense does his job, and how the Pentagon looks inside. Now, I think of a bunch of people crowed around a table with a map with blue and red tacks on it marking our position and the enemy's position. I have watched too many movies... I would like to see how it looks in real life, not some movie version.

I'm really excited to go to DC because the last time I went there I had so much fun. I go to Maryland a lot so I love to see how it changes. I'm a huge architect freak so seeing all of the different styles is fascinating. The monuments and memorials are really important to our country so those are always something to look forward to. I'm also really excited to go to the Museum of Crime and Punishment (especially since my fave. Shows are CSI and Law & Order :P )

I think its going to be a great trip!

I am very excited to see all the sites on this trip to Washington. Though, one in particular sparks my interest even more: the Pentagon. It seems very mysterious and I've wanted to go inside that building for a while. It's like a top-secret, ninja-like, pentagon shaped building with information the secretary of the navy cannot know... well, not entirely. It seems very awesome to go inside to learn about our special defenses. :)

I am excited to go to Washington because I hope to learn about the past presidents and what they did to this country to make it better. Another thing that I can't wait for is going to the Pentagon to see how our military works. The main thing that I look forward to is having my own freedom of walking around and being treated more like an adult.

As the Washington trip comes closer, there is one thing that i am most looking forward to; that is the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. This monument contains great significance and an abundant amount of exciting history! The Pentagon most excites me because it is guarded and secured with such advanced precision, and i just want to see the reasons for why it is secured so tightly. The fact that the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers is protected and watched over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is quite significant. I don't recall any other monument that is watched over so frequently. Overall, this monument is so remarkable and i cannot wait to see it in Washington D.C!

Hmmm... What excites most educationally would have to be the FDR memorial. Also known as Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The reason I chose this over everything else is because to me he was a great president and it is held outside. It is a beautiful memorial with water falls and everything! I have heard many great things about the FDR memorial and it always has good

Educationally, the event i look foward to most would have to be seeing the washington monument and the reflecting pool. The reason i say this is because i have visited washington many times before for hockey and have visited the white house, but never the monument or reflecting pool. Aside from that, i look foward to seeing these places because i have enjoyed there scenery and look foward to learning why these two famous landmarks are so famous.

In my eyes, the most exciting part of the Washington trip will be the Newseum. It will be interesting to see the headlines for some of the most important events in our history. The Newseum showcases articles from our history that still effect us today and hold great emotion behind each printed word. It will also be very cool to relate it to the freedom of the press if we find any controversial papers that utilize their first amendment right to free speech. If we can find those articles that express opinion about the government whether it be negative or positive, we will know where that right came from and how many court cases have been decided and people have to protect that right,

I am very excited for the washington trip. what excites me most is the night tour of the washington mall. i look forward to seeing the monuments lit up at night. its interesting how in this day and age the capitol and center of our government could at the same time be so artistic. im looking forward to what will come out of the visit.

The better question would be: "What excites me the least about the upcoming 8th grade trip to washington?" because I'm freaking stoked! I'm so excited to see the monuments and memorials in our nations capital! I'm especially looking forward to the Forensics Museum. Being able to be relaxed and away from the stress of school, but with my school friends and teachers is something I always look forward to on every field trip. :D

There are many things I am looking forward to about Washington, but I am really excited about seeing the monuments at night. Many of us have seen the monuments during the day, but seeing them lit up at night will be great. I am also excited about going to the Pentagon. It is such an important place in the United States, and I can't wait to see it in person. Lastly, I am looking forward to our independence. I think it will be a lot of fun seeing Washington with our friends and bonding with them in a new location.

Washington is my favorite place to go to for many reasons. I just love going because of the whole atmosphere of Washington. There is always the feel that something important is going on right around the corner. Also, Washington is very pretty in the spring, so I'm excited to go just to see all the cherry blossoms. I am most excited, educationally, for the Crime and Punishment museum and to go to the capitol building. There is so much history in the capitol building and the architecture is really amazing.

Educationaly is seeing the Arlington Memorial Cemetary. I know that might sound a little strange ot see a big yard filled wiht past soldiers and presidents, but I went when i was younger. That was my favorite part of the trip. To see the fire, and the soldiers standing by the tomb of the unknown was realyl interesting to me. Im luck to be going with a class that i love so much, so I can enjoy it even more!

I can not wait for this washington trip because I am going to love all of the memorials and sights we will get to see.
